Well, school has finally started. Dang. Although our summer is over, I think that we made it the best yet! Lots of pool days, fun tips, friend time, and memories. Defiantly one of the best summers EVER! It went by really fast, (too fast) but it was super duper fun!
Since BEFORE school has started, I have been involved in the marching band for my high school. I spent 2 weeks, 6 days a week, for 7 hours each day at a band camp, which taught me the basics of marching and how we do things in the Fossil Ridge marching band. Last year, we were the defending state champions, so this year, they are really pushing us hard to re-claim the title. Band camp helped us insanely. I went from knowing nothing to memorizing 5 minutes of drill- a whole marching and playing performance! Our band instructor, Mr. Berard, is really tough, but he gets amazing results. I'm so excited to be in the marching band!
I've also concluded my first week of high school! I got lost a few times, but I actually made it through the week and survived! I'm also loving early morning seminary. Seminary is way too early, but I still love it. It makes my day SO much better, and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to go. This year is going to be busy and awesome! :)
