Camping!

This year, we didn't do the regular "Douglas Camping Trip," which consists of total isolation in the woods and doing whatever we want. This year, Na decided to rent 2 yurts at Tumalo State Park near Bend, OR. It was 8 people per yurt, plus a tent for Lance and Taylor, then a fire pit for each yurt. We had clean bathrooms and showers, obviously running water, and the Deschutes River to play in during the 100 degree days we were there. Overall, it was a lot of fun, and we were able to find new hiking trails, play games (that don't involve electronics), and have quality time with the family.

This is what one of the yurts looks like (ft. Taylor).

This is the inside of one of the yurts.

Our "chickmunk" friend that we named Squishy! We fed him TONS of peanuts.

Maddy fishin' on the river.

Everyone was excited to go camping!... Then there was Gracie.

When the sticks for marshmallows were first passed out, it was war.

What is Daddy looking at?

Taylor and I were told to fetch some water, and by the time it was close to full, I couldn't lift it. So this picture captures me spraying him with freezing cold water as he is trying to help me... I'm a pretty nice cousin. :)

On our way back from camping, all 17 of us got Dutch Brother's coffee... It was a good day for that store.

Party at Auntie Lisa's!

The three of us were able to stay at Auntie Lisa's for a night! We ate cake, pizza, and donuts, we went to Elmonica Elementary at 10pm to play with a light-up frisbee, and we did our usual girly stuff; nails, facials, and tanning while loud music is blasting! We had a BLAST, and were so glad to have had the time to spend time with Lisa and Tanner!

We made her laugh, thus causing her mask to crack, so we had to take a cracked selfie.
Lisa: "We look like TIGERS!"

Oh how Gracie loves that dog... the poor little thing.

We played "Truth or Dare", and the dares included going under water in the gosh dang freezing pool... Grace went first:)

I think this picture showcases our relationship perfectly.

Lisa wanted some splashing photos... I think Grace got carried away.

Intel 5k

Daddy and me were a part of a "fun run" hosted by Intel yesterday, Friday, June 5th! We ran a 5k (like 3 miles), and at the end there was food, loud music, and free stuff! Unfortunately, it was over 90 degrees, making it a little miserable. Through the heat and the allergies, we made it successfully in 45 minutes (because of me :) ) and got free t-shirts! I am SO sore...

Before the race, we were happy and pumped...

There were at least a thousand people participating. This is the starting arch, and it took us a few minutes to get there due to the amazing amount of people.

During the run....

After the race! We were hot, sweaty, and ready for an iced coffee! :)

In Portland!

It's summer 2015, and we're in Portland yet again! Lately, we have visited with family and been settling in. Can't wait to see what Oregon has in store for us during the remainder of our stay!

Airport shenanigans.

Red Robin didn't know what hit em'. #douglascrew

Nothing better than bonding with the little brother and playing car games.

Well, at least now Daddy doesn't have to use an annoying alarm clock... I think 5 kids does the trick!

Stole Daddy's phone to post selfies on his Instagram :)
