Hike To Grey Rock

Today, I went with some school friends in my marching band section (the mellophones) to hike up in the mountains. We went all the way up to Grey Rock! It was beautiful. We had a wonderful time, and the view made the burning calves worth it! :)

Portland!

In June, we spent 3 weeks visiting family in Portland, OR! Maddy, Gracie, and I went on a plane ALONE. It was certainly an adventure keeping them calm, quiet, and occupied on the plane ride, but it was well worth it! Our time in Oregon was so much fun! I was able to play with my old middle school's last 8th grade band concert, go to the beach, and spend time with my crazy family. It was an all-around great trip, and I can't wait for next summer to do it again! :)
