Okay! So, I know that my last blog was a TOTAL disaster, but I'm going to try my best this time to keep up with this!! My mom inspired me to start fresh... Well, she showed me her fully updated blog, which gave me the idea to start over. Same difference. :) As summer 2012 comes to a close on August 21st, we have been doing a TON of things. Lots of things have been happening this summer alone.
First, we moved to Colorado. It is amazing. We live next to my wonderful aunt and uncle, and my cousins, Porter, Beckett, and little Mia. Its such a blessing to have them so close!! The weather so far has been hot; HEAVEN. Its better hot than rainy and cold!! Plus, we have new friends whom we couldn't love more! Madison and I go on bike rides ALL THE TIME. Well, more than we did in Oregon (never). Although Colorado is great, we wish that our family and friends that we left behind could be here to enjoy it with us. We miss them SOOO much. :(
Second, we have been going on adventures! We just recently went to Estus National Park (don't mind my awful spelling.... this proves how badly I need to get back to school), and saw lots of wildlife, exotic plants, grumpy hikers, and ROCKS. Lots, and lots, and LOTS of rocks. Yep.... that's about it. I took some really good pics which I sadly cannot post at the moment, but I will try to soon. ( However, they are posted on my Mom's blog, www.douglasgirls4.blogspot.com !!)
Lastly, I have been getting paid tremendous amounts of money for babysitting. Who knew that the city of Fort Collins was in such need of a babysitter? Hahaha, but I have been riding my bike to frozen yogurt places, the grocery store, Target, and even Happy Panda to spend my cash. Its quite fun. :)
To conclude, summer 2012 has been amazing..... but Fall 2012 is the start of a new blog!! Happy Going Back To School! Wish me luck at keeping up with this. :)
